Hi, I’m Dave Paczkowski
Since 2017, I’ve been writing about health, fitness, strength training, injury prevention, mindset, and masculinity. Through my newsletter — The Strength Standard — and my coaching, I’ve helped thousands of men build real strength: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
If you’re missing strength in any of those areas, you’re likely falling short of your highest calling and potential. You weren’t made to coast through life — you were made to lead with strength, courage, and confidence.
If you’re new here, check out some of my articles and subscribe to The Strength Standard to start building the kind of strength that transforms everything.
How My Work Can Help You Build Strength
My mission is to build strong Kingdom men.
Strong men → strong marriages → strong families → strong communities
Strength starts with strong men.
My work isn’t about chasing trends or hype. I’ve been mentored by pastors, coaches, and leaders who’ve shaped my life deeply. My writing reflects timeless truths and practical principles that work.
In every area of life, I’ve learned that a few things done consistently — with the right heart — can change everything:
- In strength training, a few key movements build the most muscle.
- In fat loss, a few sustainable nutrition strategies make all the difference.
- In marriage, a few intentional moments a day can drastically improve connection.
- In masculinity, a few Biblical truths can restore confidence, clarity, and leadership.
Most men don’t need more information. They need encouragement, accountability, and consistent application of the fundamentals.

Other Interests and Passions
Coffee Roasting (and Drinking)
We roast our own beans weekly, and yeah — we’re a bit snobby when it comes to good coffee.
Pickleball
Former gym class champ in 2006. Retired the same year while on top. Came out of retirement in 2020 only to find I’m… not that good anymore…and maybe never was. Still love it.
Simplicity
Give me a good cup of coffee, a good book, and a slow Saturday with my family — I’m a happy man.
Final Note
There’s already enough noise out there.
You don’t need more noise, information, or another self-help book — you need strength.
I’m not here to impress you with something new or flashy. I’m here to help guide you toward the kind of transformation that impacts your body, your mind, your spirit — and the people around you.
